Terms of service
Last updated: 27 July 2026
These terms govern your use of applianceyard.com and any order you place with us. By using the site or placing an order, you accept them.
1. About us
Appliance Yard, 4 Bald's Ln, Stourbridge, West Midlands, DY9 8SE, United Kingdom. Email support@applianceyard.com, telephone 01384 898604.
2. Placing an order
Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we send a dispatch confirmation. Until then we may decline the order — for example if the item is out of stock, if we identify a pricing error, or if we cannot authorise your payment.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are in pounds sterling and are inclusive of all applicable taxes. Delivery is free on every order, so the price shown is the price you pay. We take payment at the point of order. If an obvious pricing error occurs, we will contact you to confirm whether you wish to proceed at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
4. Product information
We describe our products as accurately as we can. Images are illustrative; colours can vary between screens, and manufacturers occasionally change specifications or packaging. Dimensions and technical specifications should be confirmed against the manufacturer's own documentation before you commit to an installation.
5. Delivery and risk
Delivery terms are set out in our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these terms. Risk passes to you on delivery. Ownership passes once we have received payment in full.
6. Your rights
Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. See our Return and Refund Policy.
7. Acceptable use
You may not use the site unlawfully, attempt to gain unauthorised access, scrape or copy content for commercial use, or interfere with its operation. All site content, branding and images are owned by us or our licensors.
8. Accounts
If you create an account, keep your password secure and tell us promptly of any unauthorised use. We may suspend accounts used in breach of these terms.
9. Liability
We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We are not liable for business losses, and we do not limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. We are not liable for failures caused by events outside our reasonable control.
10. Complaints and disputes
Please contact us first at support@applianceyard.com — most issues are resolved quickly. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may bring proceedings in your own courts.
11. Changes
We may amend these terms. The version in force is the one published when you place your order.
